The Lemon Tree House is conveniently located on prestigious Tar Bay, just 6 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from groceries and beer, wine and liquor and just 10 minutes from the capital city of Georgetown. Tar Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, with waters that will turn a million shades of blue before your very eyes. The beach is quite secluded, with powder-soft white sand and mostly gentle surf, perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding or just floating about with a cocktail in hand.
Although the official address for the Lemon Tree House is 108 Tar Bay, virtually all taxi drivers will know the villa by name. If driving from the airport. you will exit the airport by way of a short road which takes you to the Queen's Highway, the main road on Great Exuma island. The airport road will meet the Queen's Highway at a roundabout. Enter the roundabout and then exit the roundabout to the right, southeast towards Georgetown. The villa is located on Tar Bay, a four to five minute drive down the Queen's Highway, on the left side of the road. The private driveway is marked with a sign bearing the Lemon Tree House logo.

In Great Exuma, motorists drive on THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD. If you are not accustomed to driving on the left, please BE VERY CAREFUL - take it slow and be very focused and conscious as you get used to driving on the left. Generally speaking, it is quite easy to navigate the island by car, as you will find that almost everything is located on or very close to the Queen's Highway.
